Construction has begun on the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail. An enthusiastic crowd turned out at Tumbarumba on 17 April 2019 to witness the first soil being turned on the construction of the 21 kilometre trail linking Tumbarumba to Rosewood.
Construction is due to be completed early in 2020, making this the first Rail Trail in NSW to be constructed on a closed railway corridor, and hopefully the first of many in NSW.
